What are the 4 Catchers for?

The purpose of the 4 Catchers is to give you different Subsidiary Stones to upgrade your equipment. They all have 100,000 HP and don’t do any damage.

Where are the 4 Catchers located?

Catcher spawns have various spawn locations across each continent, rather than set spawn spots. They don’t spawn in dungeons.

  • Erons Catcher: Flaris, Darkon 3, Azria
  • Krasec Catcher: Saint Morning, Darkon 3, Azria
  • Mine Catcher: Garden of Rhisis, Darkon 3, Azria
  • Guru Catcher: Darkon 1 & 2, Darkon 3, Azria

No catcher spawn : Coral Island

How do I get the Subsidiary Stones from these monsters?

You need to kill the Catchers and then use a Collector (you can buy them from the NPCs Achaben, Tandy, Lui, Bill, Yuna), by clicking on the dead Catchers (laying on the ground) to collect Subsidiary Stones Erons, Krasec, Mineral, and Guru. During the collecting process, the Catchers get smaller and smaller until they are gone.

Tip: There are 4 types of collectors Collector, V3 Collector, Power Collector, and Ultra Collector. The ‘Collector’ is the cheapest, but gives you just fewer Subsidiary Stones than the most expensive one ‘Ultra Collector’. Nevertheless, Ultra Collector costs only 200,000 Penya and should still be affordable for everyone. So you should definitely only use this one
Collector’ gives you 40, ‘V3 Collector’ gives you 50, ‘Power Collector’ gives you 66, and ‘Ultra Collector’ gives you 100 Subsidiary Stones, per monster.

Tip: You can upgrade Collectors with Power Dice 8 or Power Dice 10 (droppable from monsters all over Madrigal) to increase collecting speed. Like Flyff PC the maximum upgrade level is 5 and the Collector is never destroyed when the upgrade fails. Simply double-click on the Power Dice and then click on the Collector to do the upgrade.
Hint: Power Dice 10 has a higher success rate than Power Dice 8
.
