Ultimate Weapon and Ultimate Jewelry Upgrade
Table of Contents
General information Ultimate Equipment
Ultimate equipment naturally derives from regular, non-ultimate equipment. There are both Ultimate weapons and Ultimate jewelry. While they have some similarities, they also have some key differences in the creation process. Ultimate equipment – regardless of the type of equipment, can only be upgraded up to +5.
Unlike regular equipment, all Ultimate equipment uses Sunstones and Scrolls of XProtect in the upgrading process.
Ultimate Weapon Upgrade
General information
Ultimate weapons all come with special visual effects that signify their uniqueness they have a glow effect equivalent to +10 upgrade level. (They would transfer the glow and shiny effects when transmuted into another weapon).
Not all weapons can be upgraded to Ultimate. A weapon that is eligible to be converted is noted in the item tooltip. The only weapons eligible for conversion are: Lusaka’s, Lusaka’s Crystal, and Hernes’ weapons.
An important difference between the Level 150 weapon stats and the other weapons is that their stats (all 1vs1) are in between a range, not a fixed number. They also have special skills like “Water Bomb,” (with +% between a range) which has a chance to deal AoE water damage with each attack.
You can see all Lusaka’s, Lusaka’s Crystal, and Hernes’ weapons with their stats and special skills in this list.
For example, a Lusaka’s Bow may have anywhere from 63% to 68% increased critical damage. This makes every single weapon unique.
Additionally, once a weapon is converted to Ultimate, it gains additional two random stats (both the state and its amounts), with fairly low amounts (such as DEX + (2-10)).
How to upgrade your weapon to Ultimate?
Firstly, you have to upgrade your Level Lusaka’s, Lusaka’s Crystal, and Hernes’ weapons to +10 like all other weapons with Scroll of SProtects and Powerdice 6/12
Then to upgrade your Weapon you need to go to the NPC [Armor] Boboko in Central Flarine.
You need:
- 3x Shining Oricalkum , obtainable from quests and Coral Island Giants.
- 3x Ultimate Orb , obtainable from a repeatable quest to collect Ultima. Ultima drops from Coral Island Giants as well as treasure chests in the new dungeon, The Wilds. 10 of these can be delivered to the Mysterious Islander on Coral Island in return for 1 Ultimate Orb.
- 100,000,000 Penya
How to upgrade your Ultimate Weapon?
Note: Ultimate Weapons, keep the original item’s element and piercings levels.
To upgrade your Ultimate Weapon, you must go to the NPC [Armor] Boboko in Central Flarine.
You need:
- Sunstones , obtainable from monsters in the dungeon ‘The Wilds’.
- Scrolls of XProtect , obtainable from Coral Island Voilet monsters or through the Cash Shop for real money
Then you need a different amount of Minerals and Erons (depending on the item’s upgrade level). You get 100 of these materials from one Catcher, when using an Ultra Collector.
While upgrading Ultimate weapons, failures reduce the upgrade level by one, and there is a chance for great failures and great successes. A great failure or success reduces or increases the upgrade level by 2, respectively. Importantly, the pity system is not implemented for Ultimate weapon upgrading due to the reduction in upgrade level on failure, similar to Low SProtect scrolls.
How to reroll the weapons base stats + Ultimate stats?
Dismantling your Ultimate Weapon
You can dismantle it to yield back the +9 regular version of the weapon with a new amount of base stats, which then you can reconvert into an Ultimate Weapon with two new random Ulti stats. You can then repeat the creation process.
Dismantling an item have a 100% success rate
An example:
Using Cash Shop Items: Scroll of Ultimate Power or Scroll of Ultimate Bonus
Here you don’t have to upgrade your weapon from +9 to +10 and to Ultimate again.
- The Scroll of Ultimate Power changes all 4 (sometimes 5) base stats values at once on your lv150 non-Ulti or Ulti weapon.
- The Scroll of Ultimate Bonus changes all 2 Ulti stats at once on your lv150 Ulti weapon.
Ultimate Jewelry Upgrade
Gereral information
You can not upgrade jewelry to Ultimate like for Ultimate Weapons. The Ultimate Jewelry exists by itself. It can not be dropped by monsters but can be exchanged for Jewelry Dust and Cursed Jewelry Fragments at various NPCs like Boboko in Central Flarine.
The pieces available at this NPC include versions that are pre-upgraded, ranging from +0 to +4.
How to get Jewelry Dust and Cursed Jewelry Fragments? [Dismantling Jewelry]
- Jewelry Dust , is obtainable by dismantling existing jewelry pieces by NPCs like Peach in Central Flarine such as a Vigor Ring, or an FWC jewelry piece, such as a Warbringer’s Ring. The amount of Jewelry Dust you gain from dismantling a jewelry piece depends on its upgrade level, with higher upgrade levels yielding more dust, and a +20 piece giving a significant amount more than previous levels. Additionally, FWC pieces grant 30% more dust. The minimum upgrade level required to dismantle a jewelry piece into dust is +8.
- Cursed Jewelry Fragments [Always soul-linked], are obtainable from ‘The Wild Boss’ (with party skills each member gets 8-14 directly in the inventory) and the ‘Cursed Reborn Dungeon bosses’ (with party skills each member gets 6-10 directly in the inventory, as well as dismantling jewelry pieces (which give you both the dust and the fragments). The minimum upgrade level required to dismantle a jewelry piece into fragments is +16.
Dismantling an item destroys it permanently, and gives you the resulting items instead, at a 100% success rate

Upgrading behaves differently from Ultimate weapons due to their differences in the creation process. Failures while upgrading this jewelry does not reduce the level. There are no great failures or successes, and there is pity. This upgrading works this way to ensure that players can get maximum value from their existing upgraded jewelry. Since the upgrade level does not reduce on failed attempts, the success rate for upgrading Ultimate jewelry is lower than the success rate for upgrading Ultimate weapons.
Upgrade Pity
Weapon, Armor, and Accessory, general upgrading, piercing, and element upgrading use an Upgrade Pity system for probabilities. This pseudo-random system aims to lower the extreme variance of luck. This means that it’s less likely to get really lucky while upgrading, but also less likely to get really unlucky.
With the upgrade pity system, your success rate will rise with each failed upgrade attempt, until you get a successful attempt.
Mathematically, this system produces the same upgrade chances but provides a very nice safety net and is less reliant on RNG. This system is based on a simple Markov-Chain; For example, a 2% probability will begin at 0.062%, and go up by 0.062% each failed attempt. With this system the standard deviation for a success is +/- 17 upgrade attempts, instead of +/- 49 upgrade attempts with the old system.
The number of failed attempts is stored on the item, not the player. This means that when trading items between players, the items retain their number of failed attempts for each upgrade. These numbers are visible on the item tooltip:
