I set up this donation page to allow for the possibility of dedicating more time to this project.
With sufficient support, I “Tacota” could contribute even more content to this website, such as guides, news, and calculations, and might even have the time to organize in-game events like Hide and Seek, Riddle, and Quiz events in the future for both the English and German-speaking servers.
Your membership or donation will also help me cover the cost of the premium hosting and I would be able to compensate my colleague who works once a week on the website.
I’m not just asking for donations without offering something in return.
Supporters will receive a website account that removes ads. Starting with the Silver Supporter package, they will also receive my newsletter, providing weekly updates on what’s new on the website and my upcoming content plans. The Gold Supporter package offers additional benefits, allowing you to share your ideas or requests for new content on the website, which will be given priority.
All supporters will be acknowledged on this site by their main character. Gold Supporters can include additional information, such as a link to their guild Discord server. (Of course, all supporters can request to stay anonymous).
Ko-Fi is a crowdfunding platform similar to Patreon, enabling content creators to receive financial support from you through small donations or recurring payments. You can “buy a coffee,” (donate money) which is where the name Ko-Fi comes from.
I chose Ko-Fi because, unlike platforms like Patreon, Ko-Fi doesn’t charge fees for every transaction.
It finances itself through several key methods, mainly designed to stay accessible to creators while providing optional premium features for a monthly fee of 6€ for the content creator. Additionally, creators can sell digital or physical products with the Ko-fi Shop. A 5% platform fee applies to sales made through the shop for free users.
So aside from the standard PayPal transaction fees (or fees from other payment providers), the rest of your payment goes directly to me.
In contrast, Patreon deducts a fee of 2.9% + 0.30€ from creators’ earnings (5% + 0.10€ for amounts under 3€).
This gives Ko-Fi an advantage, especially for our smaller donation settings.
If you’d like to make a one-time donation, no registration with Ko-Fi is required. You can simply choose your payment method and complete the transaction.
However, for a monthly membership, you will need a Ko-Fi account so that you have the option to cancel the membership later if necessary.
Creating a Ko-fi account is easy and can be done using your email and password, or, as is common on many platforms, by linking your Twitter, Google, Facebook, or Twitch account directly.

Special treatment for memberships from the Philippines and other low-income countries
To make the support and access to the benefits easier from low-income countries like the Philippines, memberships from the following countries only have to pay the 2€ Bronze Supporter package to get all the benefits from the Gold Supporter package.
So please mention if you are from one of these countries.

How do you get your supporter benefits?
After your donation, I will contact you via the email linked to your transaction by using my email madrigalinside.com@gmail.com to provide your supporter benefits.
If you’d like to speed up the process, I recommend writing me via email, or reaching out to me ‘tacota0158’ on Discord (especially if you haven’t heard from me within the next 24 hours).
Can you check how much has already been donated this month?
Yes, you can. I decided to give you a full transparency.
On the top left of my Ko-fi page, there’s a weekly goal for going full-time (example). Additionally, you can see the total number of cups of coffee I received (each 2€ equals one coffee, so in this example, 74€ equals 37 coffees). Moreover, there’s a feed on my Ko-fi page displaying the latest members and donors.
The funds go directly into my PayPal or bank account, allowing me to dedicate more time to the project and also helping to compensate my colleague who contributes to the website every other week.
The weekly goal will be reset on the named day (on the Ko-fi page) at 11 PM CET.
